My name is Jess and I am the owner/creative behind Birch River Clay. I have spent my entire life being crafty and started "selling" my crafts when I was around 10 years old. Making things is just a part of who I am. I started Birch River Clay after receiving a pair of clay earrings as a gift. I have always had sensitve ears and these were the first earrings that didn't hurt! I was hooked. So I bought some clay, got to work, and Birch River Clay was born.
